The most of us have been there before: after paying a sizeable portion of your salary towards the rent of your new Dubai house or apartment, you're all set to move in when you realize that your drapes or blinds need to be replaced. This can often come as a surprise because, if you are not attentive, custom Dubai Curtain can end up costing you an additional few months of rent.

An outline of your possibilities for custom-made Dubai blinds and curtains may be seen here. Fortunately, there is something to suit every budget.

upscale

There will almost always be a section of furnishing stores at Dubai Mall or Mall of the Emirates devoted to Roman blinds or curtains. You can select curtain styles, arrange for a measuring consultation at your house, and then receive an estimate. But beware—prices could be exorbitant. A typical two-bedroom apartment might easily cost you between AED 10,000 and AED 15,000.

In the middle

If you're looking to get curtains or blinds created, consider going to other furnishing stores instead than the large malls. The mid-range stores will use a similar method and be able to provide you with more reasonably priced blinds or curtains. Start by perusing the furniture stores strewn over Sheikh Zayed Road, Naif Road, and Umm Hurair Road (close to the Al Maktoum Bridge). Prices for curtains may be as much as 20–40% less than those in large malls.

Spending Plan

Using one of the many smaller curtain providers based out of Satwa or Dragon Mart is the most affordable method to get curtains or blinds produced in Dubai. Even though the stores are frequently unattractive, they typically stock a large selection of sample curtain and blind materials. They can measure the windows in your house, or if you'd rather, you may measure the windows yourself, just provide the measurements, and choose the fabric of your choice. They can usually complete your drapes or blinds in a few days. A two-bedroom apartment would cost a fraction of what larger stores typically charge (you could start with a few thousand dirhams). If your windows are standard size, another alternative is to go with pre-made curtains or shades. The majority of Dubai's furniture stores carry these, however your options are constrained.
