Production Technology of THEIC: In terms of production, a production process that does not directly use cyanuric acid as a raw material has high requirements for equipment and harsh operating conditions, so it is currently less used. The other is a direct production process using cyanuric acid as raw material. According to different catalysts, it can be divided into four categories, namely, chlorohydrin method, ethylene carbonate method, ethylene oxide method and isocyanate method. The process of Chlorohydrin method is relatively complicated with long reaction cycle, and the refining of crude products is difficult. The ethylene oxide method has higher yield, simple process and relatively lower cost. The raw material ethylene carbonate method required in the production of ethylene carbonate method has limited sources, so the production cost is relatively high. In the production of isocyanate method, the requirements for equipment are relatively high, and the operating conditions are relatively harsh.
