It is with great sadness that we report the death of legendary soccer player Diego Maradona, who passed away on Wednesday at the age of 60. Maradona was one of the greatest players in soccer history and had a career spanning four decades. He won numerous awards and accolades throughout his illustrious career, including two FIFA Player of The Year awards as well as being named South American Footballer Of The Year three times.

Maradona began his professional playing career in 1976 when he signed with Argentinos Juniors at just 15 years old. He quickly made an impact on the team by scoring 116 goals over five seasons before moving to Boca Juniors in 1981 where he scored 28 goals in 40 matches during his single season there. In 1982, Maradona moved to Barcelona where he played for two seasons before signing with Napoli for what would become a historic stint from 1984-1991 which saw him score 81 goals across 188 appearances while leading them to their first ever Serie A title win in 1987 - making him an instant legend among fans all around Italy!

After leaving Napoli, Maradena went back home to Argentina joining Newell’s Old Boys for one season before ending up back at Boca Juniors from 1993-1995; then going onto play short spells with Sevilla FC (1992) and Club Dorados de Sinaloa (2018). Throughout this time period Diego also represented Argentina internationally appearing 91 times between 1977–1994 while helping them win both Copa America titles (1979 & 1991) along their way towards glory!
Asides from all these accomplishments though it is perhaps how much joy & passion that ‘El Pibe De Oro’ brought us through football which will be remembered most fondly by fans worldwide; especially those who have grown up watching him play or even just hearing stories about this incredible man's achievements over multiple generations! We here are Soccer Newsroom send our deepest condolences out towards everyone affected by this loss but take solace knowing that even after death Diego’s legacy will live forever within our hearts & minds thanks largely due too everything has done/given us during life time… Rest In Peace Legend 💔 elomdasport
