Canceling a Roku subscription is a straightforward process, but it’s important to know whether you subscribed through Roku itself or directly with the service provider. If you subscribed through Roku, you can cancel it via your Roku device, the Roku website, or the Roku mobile app. To cancel using your Roku device, press the Home button on your remote, navigate to "Streaming Channels" or the "Channel Store," highlight the channel you wish to cancel, press the Options (*) button, select "Manage Subscription," and choose "Cancel Subscription." If you prefer to cancel through the Roku website, visit my.roku.com and log in to your account, where you’ll see a list of your active subscriptions. Find the subscription you want to cancel, click "Unsubscribe," and confirm the cancellation. If you originally subscribed to the service directly through the provider (such as Netflix, Hulu, or Disney+), you’ll need to visit the provider’s website, log in to your account, navigate to the billing or subscription section, and cancel it from there. Keep in mind that removing a channel from your Roku device does not cancel your subscription—you must follow the cancellation steps to stop future billing. Once you cancel, your access will continue until the end of the current billing cycle, as Roku does not provide refunds for unused time. You can always check your active subscriptions by visiting my.roku.com to ensure there are no unwanted charges. If you decide to restart a subscription after canceling, you can do so by re-subscribing through the Roku Channel Store or directly on the service provider’s website. By keeping track of your active subscriptions and canceling those you no longer need, you can better manage your streaming services and avoid unexpected charges on your account.
