1. Determine how to mix

Mixing nozzles are divided into static mixing nozzles and dynamic mixing nozzles.

The dynamic mixing nozzle needs to be connected to the machine, and the machine drives the spiral inner core for mixing. Static mixing nozzles have a non-removable inner core that mixes through an external force and can be attached to the cartridge.

2. Determine the materials to mix

Mixing nozzles are available in different lengths, the longer the length the better the mixing.

Generally, the higher the viscosity of the fluid, the longer the length of the mixing nozzle is required. The following table can be used as a reference. According to different mixing materials, different numbers of mixing nozzles with different mixing costs can be selected.

Material

Range of Elements

Acrylic

8-20 elements

Epoxy

15-24 elements

Polysulfide

24-32 elements

PU Foam

10-24 elements

Silicone

20-30 elements

Urethane

24-36 elements

3. Determine the connection form of the mixing nozzle

Mixing nozzles can be connected to automatic machines, two-component rubber cartridges, etc. Different rubber cartridges have different capacities and interface forms.

The capacity is usually 50ml, 200ml, 400ml, etc., and the interfaces include bayonet type, bell mouth, twist-lock type, etc.
