A syllabus-aligned high school interactive classroom session provides practical strategies for optimising safety during the school to work transition. Youthsafe is committed to enhancing workplace safety cultures by focusing on worker attitudes and behaviour.

 

We conduct sessions for students transitioning to work, for employees, and for supervisors new to supervising young workers. Youthsafe knows that fear appeals and shock tactics are not effective in stopping young people from taking unsafe risks and won’t lead to positive behaviour change. In addition, using education in isolation of other structural or systemic improvements will not better outcomes for individuals.
