Conjunctivitis

Conjunctivitis is an eye disease also known as eye flu in which the eye swells, gets etching and is a lot painful in which a person. It is caused by bacterial infection by pollutants, dirty hands or objects that contacted directly with eyes which spreads the bacteria inside the eyes. This usually sustains up to 2-3 days for a person as the life of the bacteria ends and the eye gets cured. In conjunctivitis eyes get reddish, the vision gets blur and a lot of pain is generated in the eye. To prevent this from affecting it one should be more careful towards their eye care and avoid touching their eyes unnecessarily in order to prevent the bacterial infection to spread more and more, frequent water cold splashes, avoid going directly in the sun and avoid gadgets as much as you can as the screen time increases the eye pressure which could spread the infection more.

Medication that should be taken

First of all after accessing the disease we should consult an eye specialist or an ophthalmologist who will correctly analysis the stage of the disease and provide proper medication. The medicines used are a mostly antibiotic that kill the infection and gives relief to the person and if fever occurs then an individual should not worry as it is a part of this only. One should wear shades in sunlight or direct light and it is a myth that is spreads by directly viewing in others eyes. A proper rest and medication is preferred to cure it in less time and avoid serious situations. Frequent washes, eye drops to give cooling effect to the eyes and get instant relief. People usually take it lightly and avoid medication and feel that they will get cured automatically and feel it is not a sever problem.
