M.Tech Mechanical Engineering Eligibility Criteria
The detailed eligibility criteria for M.Tech Mechanical Engineering Admission course are as follows -

• Applicants must have a B.E/B.Tech degree in mechanical engineering from a recognized university
• Applicants must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in their previous qualifying degree examination
• Reserved category applicants (OBC/SC/ST) can apply with an aggregate score of 45%
• Diploma holders in mechanical engineering from an AICTE-recognized institution can also apply

Entrance based admission process

Candidates have to appear in a reputed pg entrance exam like GATE, BHU PET, UPSEE, ITM Nest etc and secure a valid rank/score. Based on the rank/score obtained by the candidates, the officials prepare a merit list and based on the merit list, conduct a counselling process to allocate seats 

Merit-based admission process

Candidates can directly apply through the official website of the institute or through our Common Application Form. The institute officials prepare a merit list based on the previous qualifying exam score of the candidates and then allocate seats.
