M.Tech ECE Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of M.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering course are as follows:

  • Candidates must have obtained their B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Students must have obtained their B.Tech degree with a minimum of 50% marks in B.Tech in
  • Electronics and Communication Engineering.
  • Candidates must not have any physical disability.
  • Students must not have colour blindness.

Duration of M.Tech ECE Course
Electronics and Communication Engineering is a 2-year degree course with 4 semesters in which students record knowledge about active and non-linear electricity. This course is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the University Grants Commission (UGC). Electronics and Communication Engineering is affiliated to Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST), Sonipat, Haryana.

How to get admission in M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering program?
In order to pursue M.Tech in ECE program, students must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria. While some universities offer admission to M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering program based on the merit/marks obtained by the students in the national level entrance examination GATE, some of the universities conduct their own entrance exam to assess the eligibility of the students for admission. M.Tech in ECE program without GATE can be pursued from universities that conduct their own entrance exams or offer direct admissions. How to Apply?

Admission registration can be done through online and offline methods. Students are required to visit the university campus for offline admissions, fill the application form, collect the prospectus and submit all the required documents. For online applications, students are required to visit the university admission website and fill the application form. Submission of application fees can be done through online money transfer or through cheques/bank drafts. Once the application form is submitted, students will receive further correspondence from the university.

Selection Process
The selection process for the M.Tech ECE course in India is primarily based on the merit or GATE scores of the aspirant. Some universities conduct their entrance exams for admission. On the basis of the merit obtained by the student in the qualifying examination or an entrance exam, the shortlisted candidates are called for the group discussion rounds and personal interviews conducted by the colleges.
